The start of a new decade:
We are now six weeks into a brand new decade and are so grateful to see God’s hand over single year M.A.D.E. has been running. In 2019, we reached new depths of our faith and trust in God’s perfect plan; getting to see and experience the tangible fruit that came as a result of co-laboring with God. It was all worth it.
We began last year with the vision of living aware in every area of our lives. Seeing God show up in ways that blew our expectations and being intentional about experiencing each moment, each person, and each need. We became more aware of our surroundings and how we could make a difference in them. By applying this vision, we expanded into new service events such as hosting an activity day for the Lotus House and collecting toys for children in Haiti through Her for Humanity, Inc. We also hosted our first Christmas Caroling Caravan and got to visit senior citizens who were spending the holidays alone, as well as honor our Miami- Dade firefighters. Overall, we served over 1,300 people in need in Miami last year and completed over 300 hours of events. Additionally, we underwent planning and rescheduling our annual youth camp; however, by living aware, we were able to see it as an opportunity to open the doors for more youth to join us and had our largest youth camp yet! With over 13 churches and 28 schools represented, “Made for All” really took its name to heart and was our best camp so far!
All of this led us to this year’s M.A.D.E. vision: “with heart and soul”. This was based on 1 Peter 3: 13-18 (MSG) which starts off saying “If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped?”. Our vision this year is to make a difference with all of our hearts and soul, giving our utmost to God, and knowing that with Him on our side nothing can come against us. We are determined to continue loving our community and fulfilling the needs of the underserved, just like Jesus did, with heart and soul. Additionally, we will be hosting our longest youth camp yet! You won’t want to miss out on MADE Bold Youth Camp 2020.
We are so grateful for every single individual who has supported the vision of M.A.D.E. so far and hope you can join us to make a difference in 2020. We pray that God leads you to be involved and be an active difference maker. Don’t miss out! Sign up for our monthly service events, show up to our capacitation class, attend or volunteer at this year’s camp, sponsor a youth. We promise it will all be worth it. Let’s make this the best year yet, together.
With heart and soul,
Ale and Ester
